Position Summary

The IT QA Engineer will lead manual testing efforts for web applications and REST APIs. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive test scenarios, cases, and strategies
Analyze requirements and technical documentation to provide actionable feedback and accurate estimates
Coordinate and prioritize testing activities with project teams
Document defects and issues thoroughly using test management tools
Execute sanity, regression, SIT, and UAT tests across multiple environments
Apply testing processes within Agile, Scrum, or Kanban frameworks
Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to meet project goals
Assist with debugging and issue resolution
Stay current with new testing tools and techniques; adopt innovative strategies as needed

Required Skills & Experience

Experience in requirement analysis and test scenario development
Proficiency in creating and maintaining test artifacts
Strong background in black box testing methodologies
Skilled in data and functional validation, including data integration testing and SQL
Experience with web application and REST API testing (Postman preferred)
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver high-quality results
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated and adaptable
