Job Description

Job Summary (Voice Engineer) St. Louis, MO

Lead the design, deployment, and troubleshooting of large-scale SIP-based voice and VoIP solutions.
Support call center applications, IVR systems, and ensure seamless communication services across multiple platforms and regions.
Troubleshoot complex SIP signaling, media flows, and voice-related issues, ensuring high availability and service quality.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical voice and integration architectures.
Make independent technical decisions and work with minimal supervision.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and deployment teams throughout design, escalation, and testing phases.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and operational tools to improve efficiency and reliability of voice systems.
Utilize strong Linux skills for command-line support, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Work with VoIP platforms such as PBX, SIP trunking, and service provider voice environments.
Apply analytical problem-solving skills to address system-level issues involving multiple components.
Employ scripting knowledge to support automation and operational enhancements.
(Preferred) Experience with Session Border Controllers (SBCs) like Ribbon, AudioCodes, or Oracle/Acme Packet.
(Preferred) Familiarity with BroadWorks, Cisco voice technologies, and large-scale, multi-region voice deployments.
