The Senior Solar Electrician will be responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar PV systems including rooftop and ground-mounted solar plants. The role involves working on electrical connections, inverter systems, DC wiring, and plant commissioning to ensure efficient solar power generation.

• Installation and commissioning of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Perform DC and AC wiring for solar modules, inverters, and junction boxes.
• Connect solar panels to the electrical grid and inverter systems.
• Conduct site inspections and layout assessment for solar installations.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure system performance optimization.
• Perform preventive maintenance of solar panels, inverters, cables, and mounting structures.
• Ensure all installations follow electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Work with project engineers during solar plant commissioning and testing.
• Maintain documentation of installation, testing, and maintenance activities.

Solar electricians typically assemble, install, and maintain systems that convert sunlight into electricity while ensuring proper wiring and grounding.

• Knowledge of Solar PV systems and electrical installations
• Experience in inverter connections and solar plant commissioning
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics
• Understanding of AC/DC wiring and solar panel configuration
• Troubleshooting and maintenance skills
• Strong awareness of electrical safety procedures

• Experience in solar EPC / rooftop / utility solar projects
• Knowledge of string inverter / central inverter systems
• Experience with solar plant installation and O&M

• ITI / Electrical certification preferred
• 4–6 years total experience
• Minimum 3–5 years in solar installation or solar electrical work
• Willingness to travel to project sites
• Ability to work in outdoor installation environments
