Job Title : Senior Manager

Department : Water based paints

Location : R&T, Turbhe, Navi Mumbai

Job Purpose:

• Senior manager should have good understanding of business requirements.

• Product Development and upgrade of existing core products in water based decorative paints.

Business Responsibility Areas:

• Guide team on product development projects and ensure closure of projects on time with 100% RFT.

• Work on formulation and sourcing efficiency initiatives. Explore avenues across portfolio.

• Product standardization and address challenges in manufacturing.

• Product Benchmarking and support market initiatives.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders - Exploration of line extensions.

• Ensure Compliance to QMS standards in the group.

• Redressal of customer complaints as per agreed timelines

• Support Nexpedition initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Planning and organization of work.

• Compliance to agreed timelines and development framework.

• New product/line extension idea generated.

• Challenge Status Quo - Problem solving skills.

• Team building and recognize performance of team members

Previous Experience:

Experience in handling product development teams and execution of projects independently.

Functional Competencies:

Conversant in paint formulations, Latest Market trends, Manufacturing processes, and Indian and international standards.
