Senior DevOps Engineer

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 4 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time Seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support and scale the infrastructure behind a high-performance trading and portfolio management platform. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to build robust deployment pipelines, manage cloud environments, and ensure system reliability, security, and efficiency across production workloads. Requirements Key Responsibilities Cloud & Infrastructure Management Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based infrastructure. CI/CD Pipeline Ownership Build and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines for seamless testing, deployment, and monitoring. Database Administration Manage and optimize databases with a focus on performance, availability, and data integrity. Monitoring & Observability Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure high system uptime and performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with development teams to support feature releases, troubleshoot production issues, and enhance deployment workflows. Security & Compliance Apply DevSecOps best practices, enforce access controls, and ensure systems meet security and compliance standards. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP). Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash). Experience working with SQL, PostgreSQL, and Amazon Aurora. Expertise in Docker and container-based deployments. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Solid understanding of Linux/Unix administration, networking concepts, and Unix sockets. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Effective communication and ability to work in collaborative, fast-paced environments. Bonus / Preferred Experience Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Knowledge of security frameworks, automated scanning, or compliance standards. Background in fintech or financial services infrastructure.
