Job Description

Role: Reliance Carbon Fiber - Technical Services - Sr. Chemist

Education: Masters/Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering/Fiber Science

Experience: 5 to 13 years

Job Description

Monthly, weekly, daily resource planning and ordering based on laboratory requirement.
Timely reporting of daily / weekly / monthly product characteristics to the concerned departments.
Manpower resource planning & lab effectiveness & efficiencies.
Annual budget plan.
Handling of customer complaint.
Asses the previous year performance of the department & plan improvement points while prepareing the yearly P&B formulation (Including AMC, reagents & chemicals etc.),
Adoption of cost control measures such as development of internal calibration techniques, to reduce -
Appraisal Cost
Cost of poor quality (Internal)
Compensation (External)

Preferred Experience

Professional having Master /Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry / Fiber Science, from a reputed university having a proven track record in the respective field.
8-10 Years of working experience in Laboratory in a similar site with hands on experience in handling laboratory teams
Experience of leading a Laboratory team with 24/7 shift rotation
Exposures in IMS / ISO system
Additional exposures in analytical methods related to composit / aerospace / high temperature processes.
Knowledge of automotive and aerospace quality certification
