Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the end‑to‑end SEO function, driving comprehensive on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Build and execute long-term SEO roadmaps including keyword strategy, backlink acquisition, content optimization, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Collaborate closely with product, content, marketing, and technology teams to ensure SEO-first thinking across all web initiatives.

Execution & Performance Management

  • Oversee the delivery of SEO projects — keyword research, backlink audits, content gap analysis, site audits, and competitor tracking.
  • Review website performance regularly and identify opportunities to improve rankings, CTR, organic traffic, DA/PA, and SERP visibility.
  • Drive improvements by optimizing content, internal linking, schema, page experience, and local search signals.
  • Manage Google Business Profile (GMB/GBP) listings, citations, and local SEO performance.

Content & Outreach Ownership

  • Define content volume, calendar, and requirements to consistently drive high‑quality organic traffic.
  • Manage blogger relationships, influencer outreach, and premium content syndication for high-authority backlinks.
  • Regularly review and upgrade existing pages—product, feature, landing, blog—to improve relevance and conversions.

Data Insights & Reporting

  • Deliver monthly and ad‑hoc SEO performance reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Provide forecasts, opportunity sizing, and commercial rationale for new initiatives.
  • Stay updated on search trends, algorithm updates, and industry developments, guiding the business on impact and next steps.


Qualifications & Skills

  • 6–9 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in the BFSI domain.
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, technical, and local SEO best practices.
  • Hands-on expertise with SEO tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to translate data into insights and actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex insights for stakeholders.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, highly detail-oriented, and capable of leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and manage external agencies/freelancers when required.
