Job Description
Regional Business Development Manager
Location: Budapest, Hungary (frequent travel within Hungary)
Main Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain long-term business relationships with partner locations
- Act as a strategic advisor, supporting operational and commercial activities at partner sites in line with network standards
- Implement and maintain network concepts across locations, including coordination of annual quality review processes
- Prepare and support annual business planning for existing and prospective partner locations
- Monitor, analyze and present sales performance and cost plans
- Conduct regular KPI reviews and implement corrective actions to meet business targets
- Provide ongoing operational and commercial support to partner network locations
- Coordinate and execute marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Drive engagement with preferred suppliers and support network-wide promotional activities
- Focus on customer-facing sales and marketing initiatives at partner locations
- Ensure consistent implementation of network quality and service standards
- Identify improvement areas and deliver training to partners and their teams (customer experience, sales techniques, visual standards, local marketing)
- Contribute actively to process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Min. 3 years of experience in sales, retail network development or partner/franchise management
- Strong communication, organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence partners and stakeholders
- Experience in leading, motivating and developing business partners to achieve performance targets
- Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable results
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and occasionally high-pressure environment
- High level of adaptability in a constantly evolving business setting
- Willingness to spend up to 70-80% of time visiting business partners across Hungary
