Job Description

Regional Business Development Manager

Location: Budapest, Hungary (frequent travel within Hungary)


Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain long-term business relationships with partner locations
  • Act as a strategic advisor, supporting operational and commercial activities at partner sites in line with network standards
  • Implement and maintain network concepts across locations, including coordination of annual quality review processes
  • Prepare and support annual business planning for existing and prospective partner locations
  • Monitor, analyze and present sales performance and cost plans
  • Conduct regular KPI reviews and implement corrective actions to meet business targets
  • Provide ongoing operational and commercial support to partner network locations
  • Coordinate and execute marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Drive engagement with preferred suppliers and support network-wide promotional activities
  • Focus on customer-facing sales and marketing initiatives at partner locations
  • Ensure consistent implementation of network quality and service standards
  • Identify improvement areas and deliver training to partners and their teams (customer experience, sales techniques, visual standards, local marketing)
  • Contribute actively to process improvement initiatives


Requirements:

  • Min. 3 years of experience in sales, retail network development or partner/franchise management
  • Strong communication, organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence partners and stakeholders
  • Experience in leading, motivating and developing business partners to achieve performance targets
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable results
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and occasionally high-pressure environment
  • High level of adaptability in a constantly evolving business setting
  • Willingness to spend up to 70-80% of time visiting business partners across Hungary
