Job Description

Responsibilities

Plan and execute sourcing strategies that guarantee the best costs of materials for the company.
Maintaining a relationship with suppliers while continually sourcing additional vendors.
Communicate with the Client regularly the efficient flow of supplies materials affecting overall production.
Develop risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of material shortage.
Oversee the procurement process from start to finish, and maintain logs and reports on procurement activities.
Foster long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers who provide the best offers during supply chain procurement.
Finalize product purchases and follow up on its timely delivery.
Negotiate contracts and deals with sellers and distributors during procurement with existing potential suppliers and review the present contracts to ensure the future scope of business procurement and vendor management.
Conduct regular on-site visits to the Client materials supplier's facilities to verify production capacity and quality standards of goods.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics anbd other related courses
With 5-10+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain
With at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
