The Banyan is a not for profit organisation that works with people with mental health issues affected by homelessness and poverty. We have a diverse range of approaches and projects in mental health ranging from hospital based care, inclusive living options to community mental health with clinics and outreach. Our sister organisation BALM engages in research, stakeholder expansion and academics.

Job Position Title: Nursing Coordinator

Job Location: Mogapair & Kovalam (Chennai)

No. of Positions: 4

Job Description:

*Comprehensive Inpatient mental health services

*Medical & psychiatric reviews for all the residents at The Banyan

*Monitor, Review & Follow up on all hospital visits

*Ensure lab investigations are done on time/as advised by the doctors

*Physical Assessment for new admission & short stay clients.

*Dispersion of ointments, syrups and administration of daily/weekly injections

Eligibility Criteria:

*Candidate with 0-2 years of experience

*Educational Qualification: Diplomas/Graduates/Post Graduates in Nursing.

*Proficiency in more than one Indian language may be an added advantage.

Salary -

B.Sc Nursing ( 20000 - 25000)

Diploma ( 18000 - 20000)
