Node.JS Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer responsible for building scalable server-side applications and APIs. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to develop high-performance web applications.

Domain: Preferred product-based engineering or automotive domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Design and implement database schemas (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
• Debug and resolve production issues
• Participate in code reviews and system architecture discussions

Required Skills

• Strong experience with JavaScript and Node.js
• Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify
• Knowledge of REST API development
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of asynchronous programming
• Experience with Git version control
• Familiarity with JWT authentication
• Basic knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of GraphQL
• Experience with Redis or message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 4–7 years experience in backend development using Node.js

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of TypeScript
• Experience with serverless architecture
• Understanding of security best practices
