Job Description

Must-Have Skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

• BE / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent technical qualification
• Minimum 5+ years of overall IT experience
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Node.js backend development
• Strong experience in designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience working in microservice-based architectures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Experience with Fastify framework (highly preferred)
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2)
• Experience with Redis, message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis Pub/Sub)
• Familiarity with Elastic Logs / centralized logging systems
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and Kubernetes
• Exposure to frontend frameworks (React / Angular / Vue.js)
• Understanding of GraphQL and WebSockets
• Strong understanding of backend security best practices

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs using Node.js frameworks
• Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services
• Integrate databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Optimize application performance and ensure system scalability
• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate UI with backend services
• Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling for production systems
• Write and maintain unit tests using Jest, Mocha, or Chai
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
• Work with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines for deployments
• Support VM-based deployments and cloud environments
