We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Moving Helper to assist with loading, transporting, and unloading furniture, equipment, and other items during moving and delivery operations. The ideal candidate is physically capable, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist drivers and moving crews with loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and equipment.
- Safely handle and transport items to prevent damage during moves and deliveries.
- Wrap, pack, and secure items using protective materials.
- Carry items to and from trucks, homes, offices, or storage areas.
- Help organize truck space to ensure safe and efficient transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and moving equipment.
- Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with customers.
Minimum requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication and customer service skills
