Overview

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for strategising and executing various visual communication campaigns. The candidate needs to have a good understanding of new design styles.

Key Responsibilities

Designing marketing materials, including social media graphics, banners, infographics, logos, presentations, and branded assets.
Use AI tools to create and enhance content, such as generating initial concepts, images, layouts, or variations for rapid prototyping.
Edit and refine AI-generated visuals to align with brand guidelines, ensuring high-quality, original outputs.
Collaborate with the team on brainstorming sessions, project concepts, and feedback iterations.
Support file management, archiving, and preparation for print or digital production.
Research design trends and contribute to maintaining consistent brand standards across platforms.

Required Skillset

Proficiency in Design Software: Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with bonus points for Figma or Canva.
AI Content Creation: Experience using AI tools for graphic generation (e.g., prompt engineering) to speed up ideation and production while maintaining creative control.
Core Design Principles: Understanding of typography, color theory, composition, layout, and visual hierarchy.
Creativity and Attention to Detail: Ability to conceptualise ideas and refine them into polished designs.
Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, for team collaboration, time management to meet deadlines, and a strong portfolio showcasing your work (even student projects).
Basic Knowledge: Familiarity with digital vs. print processes; any experience in motion graphics or UI basics is a plus.
