Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Lead, develop and manage the EHS function at Mora Plant/ Site.
Prepare LRP, EHS Budgets and spearhead/ Guide for deployment of EHS Improvements across departments.
Initiate/Develope various EHS programs to build robust Safety culture at site
He/ She shall be responsible to adhere, maintain Saint-Gobain EHS standards, himself carry out & coordinate the EHS audits in plant. Guide management towards the flaws observed in the system and help towards identifying the solutions
He/ She shall be conducting the test of adequacy for the existing EHS controls in plant, monitor actions for closure using digital tool.
He/ She shall be in a contribute towards doing the HAZOP, process safety gap assessment, risk assessment, environmental Aspect Impact studies, incident investigations etc. alongwith Managers and their followup process towards mitigation of critical items
He/ She will work towards the strengthening in overall EHS culture, create a positive and developing climate, with respect to EHS, drive safety promotional events like safety month, environment day, road safety etc. and promote employee involvement.
Contributing to achieve organization Sustainability targets and goal related to CO2 emissions, water recycling, waste and Life cycle analysis etc
Monitoring of Industrial Hygiene parameters e.g., Chemical Exposure, Noise, Heat Stress, Indoor air Quality in various workplaces.
Ergonomic Assessments in physical stress prone areas & adequate corrective measures
Organizing & conducting EHS training program for all category of employees, Mock drills, EHS meetings / review.
He / She should have the adequate knowledge & exposure of work on ISO14001 & ISO 45001 Management systems.
Lead, coordinate and execute EHS element of the projects chosen by the site, fulfill other responsibility as required by the position.
Responsible for the management of the contractor EHS at site
Responsible for statutory compliances & coordination with statutory agencies related to Factory inspectorate, Pollution control board, Explosives Department and other agencies related to EHS of the division.
