ALF Recruit are proud to be partnering with a high-growth, private equity backed organisation based in Rochdale, who are looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant.

Initially offered as 12 month fixed the contract, the ongoing growth of the organisation means there is a very strong possibility the role will become permanent, offering a chance to join a fast-paced, evolving business where finance sits at the heart of Commercial Decision Making.

Role & Responsibilities:

Reporting into Senior Finance, you will take ownership of the Month-End process and Management Accounts Production, delivering accurate Reporting and Meaningful insight to support Business Performance.

• Full Preparation and Delivery of Monthly Management Accounts
• Posting Journals, Accruals, and Prepayments
• Managing Month-End Close Activities
• Producing Financial Reporting and Variance Analysis
• Managing VAT Responsibilities across the UK and Ireland
• Business Partnering with Budget Holders across the Organisation
• Supporting ongoing improvements to Financial Processes and Controls

This role will provide excellent Commercial Exposure, working closely with Operational Teams and Senior Stakeholders across the business.

Profile:

• Experienced Management Accountant with Strong Month-End Close Experience
• Part Qualified or Qualified ACCA/CIMA
• Confident Communicator, comfortable working with Non-Finance Stakeholders
• Experience working in a growing or PE Backed Business would be advantageous
