Job Description

Responsibilities:

Following, respecting & establishing all EHS guidelines, protocols etc in workplace
Ensuring the inspection & plant maintenance is being executed using proper techniques.
Ensuring adherence to planned cost & timeline.
Ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of the equipment.
Developing technical specification for equipment / material for purchases and for subcontracting in SAP.
Ensuring jobs are executed in safely as per company protocols & with required quality.
Handling CAPEX projects and delivery on time.
Erection and commissioning of green field projects with Calderys safety and quality standards.
Adopting the operational excellence culture as and when required. Co-ordination and compliance of Internal & External audits and statutory requirements.
General store management & scrap disposal

Knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics:

Knowledge on Utilities like Screw compressors, Cooling Towers, Pumps, firefighting systems etc
Knowledge on rotary equipment like fans, impellers etc
Knowledge on material conveying systems like belt conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, EOT cranes, Packaging machines etc
Knowledge on maintenance KPIs
Knowledge on pollution control equipment like bag filters, scrubbers etc
Perseverant, results/action oriented
Able to create value
Well-organised, able to handle multiple priorities and flexible.
Strong creative mind-set, self-starter, team player, strategic thinker
Ability to interpret basic financial data.
Excellent communication, able to facilitate discussions and prepare presentations
Ability to lead and deal with senior managers across organisation
Good management skill-Computer literate with advanced level in MS Excel and Power-point.

Requirements:

Essential: BTech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10 years’ experience in refractory industries or cement industries.
Preferred: Work experience in refractory industries
