Job Description

Roles And Responsibilities

Lead the electrical design process for retail projects, collaborating with architects, consultants, and project teams to deliver effective solutions.
Prepare, review, and validate electrical system schematics, layouts, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and equipment selection to guarantee operational reliability and compliance.
Develop detailed electrical design documents, including lighting layouts, power distribution plans, panel schedules, cable routing, earthing and lightning protection schemes, and BOQs.
Coordinate load estimation, demand calculation, short-circuit calculations, voltage drop assessments, and design optimization to support business objectives and ensure efficient energy consumption.
Ensure all designs adhere to relevant codes and standards (such as IEC, IS, NEC), statutory requirements, and local utility guidelines.
Conduct technical reviews and design validation meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Evaluate and drive implementation of energy-efficient practices such as LED lighting, motion sensors, and modern automation controls to enhance sustainability and reduce operational costs.
Support Capex planning by providing technical expertise on budgeting and project cost control for electrical works.
Ensure timely execution of design deliverables and assist in troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during project execution and handover.
