Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain reactive microservices using Spring WebFlux and Project Reactor
  • Build non-blocking, asynchronous REST APIs for high-throughput applications
  • Implement reactive data access using MongoDB, Cassandra, or R2DBC
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and resilience using reactive patterns
  • Integrate with external systems and APIs in an asynchronous/reactive manner
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices
  • Perform unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, StepVerifier
  • Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and frontend teams in an Agile environment
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Java (Java 17 + Reactive Programming)
  • Hands-on experience with Reactive Programming concepts
  • Solid experience with Spring Boot and Spring WebFlux
  • Strong understanding of Project Reactor (Mono, Flux, backpressure)
  • Experience building microservices architectures
  • Working knowledge of RESTful APIs
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)
  • Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines
  • Good understanding of threading, concurrency, and non-blocking I/O
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
