Job Title: Digitalization Specialist

Location: Chennai

Position Overview

Metayb is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Digitalization Specialist to lead digital transformation initiatives across our organization. This is a full-time, onsite role based in West Africa, offering the opportunity to work on impactful projects involving emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IIoT, and advanced analytics. The role requires strong project leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Drive and manage end-to-end digital transformation projects across functions.
Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with Industry 4.0 objectives.
Lead a portfolio of digital projects focused on value chain improvements and operational efficiency.

Technology Integration

Identify, evaluate, and implement secure, scalable, and reliable digital tools and platforms.
Integrate AI/ML models for data analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive insights.
Manage IIoT implementations to support innovation and performance optimization.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful tech integration.

Process Analysis and Improvement

Analyze existing business processes to identify improvement opportunities through digitalization.
Lead the implementation of IIoT-based sustainable solutions in line with business objectives.
Apply data science principles to evaluate workflows and recommend digital solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement and Support

Coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to align project goals.
Design and deliver training programs to support technology adoption.
Manage user acceptance testing and provide post-implementation support.

Continuous Learning and Innovation

Stay updated on technological trends and best practices in digital transformation.
Identify and implement modern tools to improve system functionality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Educational Background

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Instrumentation, or related specializations in IoT, AI/ML.
MCA or equivalent qualifications are also considered.

Experience Requirements

2–5 years of relevant experience in digital transformation, business process excellence, or industrial automation projects.
Fresh graduates with strong technical skills in Python, Java, cloud platforms, and data visualization tools are encouraged to apply.

Technical Competencies

Familiarity with IIoT hardware including RTOS, sensors, controllers, and gateways.
Sound understanding of data science principles, AI/ML frameworks, and data management.
Experience with project management tools and exposure to SAP is a plus.

Open To Onsite Travel Across African Region As Required
