Key Responsibilities Industry Knowledge: Familiar with Financial Services or Settlement Systems. IT Management Tools: Exposure to tools like ServiceNow & JIRA for incident and task management. Infrastructure: Understand IT hardware, networking, operating systems, and Active Directory. Cloud Experience: Work with cloud platforms such as Azure, or GCP. Configuration Management: Manage and maintain configuration settings for applications and infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Certificate Management: Handle the issuance, renewal, and management of SSL certificates. Databases: Proficient in SQL and database management. Scripting: Strong knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, .NET or JavaScript. Application Performance/System Monitoring: Ensure high availability and reliability by using either of tools like SolarWinds, AppDynamics, DotCom, Dynatrace, Site24/7, Grafana or NewRelic. Middleware Tools: Support middleware and automation tools like ActiveBatch, RabbitMQ, UiPath, and Tibco. Infrastructure Design: Designing and maintaining scalable, secure infrastructure. Release Management: Implement, Monitor, and manage CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration: Work with development teams for smooth application delivery. Security: Follow security best practices and address vulnerabilities. 24/7 Support: Provide on-call support for critical issues. Continuous Improvement: Enhance system performance and scalability. Knowledge Management: Document and share knowledge effectively (SharePoint & Confluence) ITIL Framework: Well versed with ITIL best practices. Mentorship: Engage with team members and provide mentorship to foster growth and knowledge sharing. Engagements: Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure alignment with DevOps practices. Problem Management: conducting RCA and blameless postmortems. Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in computer science Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in supporting a portfolio of complex business critical application systems. 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related role. Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.). Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of configuration management (IIS Web server or Apache Tomcat). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to operate within the ITIL framework.
