Business Development Manager - The Oast House, Spinningfields, Manchester.
Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience | 37.5 hours | Monday-Friday with occasional weekends depending on business needs
The Oast House are recruiting a Business Development Manager to join our Manchester venue.
This is a head office position based on site and reports directly to the Head of Sales.

What Will You Do?
As Business Development Manager (Sales Manager / Events Sales / Hospitality Sales), you’ll drive revenue growth, increase venue visibility and build strong commercial relationships across private events, partnerships and corporate business. You’ll represent the venue externally while working closely with Reservations, Operations, Marketing and the General Manager to convert opportunity into revenue.
This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the Head of Sales, balancing proactive sales generation, pipeline ownership and operational collaboration.

Key responsibilities include:
- Driving new revenue across private hire, corporate events and partnerships.
- Generating leads, managing the full sales pipeline and maximising conversion.
- Building strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners and agencies.
- Representing the venue at networking, showcase and industry events.
- Partnering with Marketing, Reservations and Operations to deliver seamless events.
- Maintaining accurate CRM, reporting and contract processes.
- Supporting and developing sales capability within the venue team.
- Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
