Business Journalist

Business news website, english.dhanamonline.com is the English-language digital platform of Dhanam Business Media, one of southern India’s most respected business publishing houses. The fast-growing outlet is looking for experienced Business Journalists to join its editorial team in Kochi.

Edit and write clear, accurate and engaging content on business, markets, economy and finance

• Translate and adapt financial, economic and technological reports into accessible business journalism
• Collaborate with a dynamic editorial team to maintain high-quality output under tight deadlines
• Generate story ideas, interview business leaders, and contribute to enterprise reporting

• Minimum three years’ experience in business or financial journalism/editing
• Strong command of English-language editing and headline writing
• Educational background in Economics, Commerce, Business, English or Journalism
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Familiarity with digital-first journalism and online publishing tools is a plus
  

• Commensurate with experience and qualifications
