 1) Minimum of 7 years of experience in purchasing / procurement.  2) Proven skills in cost analysis, Vendor management  3) Experience in Import & Export customs clearance  4) Technical ability to read and understand engineering drawings and components

Job Description

Responsible to procure the materials from Domestic & International suppliers on time with right quality.
Identifying alternate suppliers & Initiate cost reduction activities by transitioning from imports to indigenous sources
Negotiate with Freight forwarders for pricing
Responsible for Unit 1 & Unit 2 Import material from pick up to delivery
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, CHA, transporters to get the material as per delivery date
On time updation of LIV ( Logistics Invoice Verification ) in SAP
