Associate Professor of CSE

Role Description

Amity University is seeking a dedicated full-time Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department for its Kolkata campus. The Associate Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, mentoring students, conducting impactful research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and participating in curriculum development and departmental activities. The role includes engaging with interdisciplinary collaborations, contributing to academic and administrative responsibilities, and fostering an innovative learning environment on campus.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• Expertise in Computer Science and Engineering disciplines, including programming, algorithms, and emerging technologies in the field
• Proven experience in research, publications, and presenting at conferences
• Effective teaching skills, including curriculum development and the use of modern teaching methodologies
• Proficiency in mentoring students and guiding research projects
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the education sector, with a track record of leadership in academic or research initiatives
• Technical proficiency in tools, software, and programming languages relevant to CSE
• Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to the department’s growth
