Role/ Job Title: Associate – Clearing Operations

Function/ Department: Wholesale Banking Operations

Job Purpose: 'Monitor and execute payment process. Verify all transactions have been executed in a timely and accurate manner.

Roles & Responsibilities

Candidate should have good communication skill
Should have good product knowledge of Clearing (Inward Clearing, Outward Clearing/ On us cheques processing) and NACH Destination operations
Should have fair understanding of Regulatory and Banking environment
Ensure all Clearing (Inward, Outward, Returns) and NACH Destination transactions are managed and processed within agreed TAT.
Responsible for monitoring reconciliation and ageing of all suspense accounts on a timely basis
Ensure no deviation from the agreed process
Ensure error free operations. Should excel in his area of operations in terms of automation, clear process flow etc. to ensure error free overall operations.
Should have basic knowledge on operational risk scenario associated with Clearing role and require investigative skills
Effective management of customer queries and complaints

Good relationship building skills required to maintain effective relationships with Internal and External Stake holders
Responsible for handling clearing related Vendors, monitor SLAs for Vendor and other clearing products
Responsible for timely updation and submission of MIS and reporting of all clearing products
Coordination or follow up with internal and external stake holders (regulatory bodies / NPCI / Member Banks)

Educational Qualification: Any Graduate or Postgraduate

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in Banking
