Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager – GST / Indirect Tax (Litigation)

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience: 4–5 Years

Industry: Consulting / CA Firm / Tax Advisory

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Handle GST / Indirect Tax litigation matters including SCN replies, adjudication, appeals, and representations before authorities
  • Manage end-to-end GST compliance, advisory, and litigation assignments for clients
  • Draft and review submissions, replies, legal opinions, and case notes
  • Coordinate with clients, counsels, and tax authorities on litigation matters
  • Lead and manage a team of associates/executives; review work and ensure timely, quality deliverables
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
  • Stay updated with GST law amendments, notifications, and judicial precedents

Key Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant
  • 4–5 years of experience in a consultancy / CA firm background
  • Strong hands-on experience in GST litigation
  • Proven ability in team handling and client management
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
