We are hiring an AlgoSec Resident Engineer to join our Sales team and work with APAC based customers.

Location: India (Home office/ Hybrid)

Responsibilities

Monitoring, operating and maintaining AlgoSec products, troubleshooting assistance, upgrade planning, knowledge transfer of key sections of the product.
Perform product customizations to a certain level. Consult customer with best practices and being their 'Trusted Advisor'.
Working in tight integration with Sales, Delivery, Support, CSM, and R&D departments.
Act as AlgoSec’s eyes & ears: monitor shifts in customer technical landscape, org structures, or priorities, and escalate key insights to internal teams (Customer Success, Product, Strategy).

Requirements

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, in a software company.
Experience in Linux/UNIX environments.
Experience with networking devices (Switches, Routers etc.)
Experience in firewall administration and configuration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto etc.)
Experience working with Cloud platforms and managing Cloud Security.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to operate under pressure in deadline-driven situations and business emergencies.
Experience dealing with Global customers.
Customer oriented and ability to establish customer’s trust.
Problem solver, result driven, demonstrating a ‘make it happen’ attitude, attention to details.
Team player, pleasant to work with, with a high level of integrity, bright, self-learner.
Ability to identify and escalate revenue-driving adoption or expansion signals.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, working on-site (APAC) with AlgoSec customers.
