We are a consulting partner seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage invoice processing, vendor communications, and expense reimbursements in a fast-paced accounting environment.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong attention to detail and experience supporting enterprise finance operations.

About the Role

The Accounts Payable Specialist will serve as the point of contact for assigned business units while managing vendor invoices, payment processing, and expense reimbursements.

You will work closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment discrepancies, ensure compliance with financial policies, and support operational efficiency within the accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

• Review invoices daily to ensure proper documentation and approvals before payment
• Code invoices to appropriate accounts and cost centers
• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies
• Monitor early payment discount opportunities
• Verify vendor Tax ID information and ACH payment instructions
• Audit expense reports to ensure compliance with corporate travel policies
• Process check payments and ACH pay cycles
• Support vendor audit reporting and financial documentation
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payment status

What We’re Looking For

• 7–10 years of overall professional experience
• Minimum 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with enterprise accounting systems (SAP preferred)
• Prior experience working within large corporate environments
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines

• Work Mode: Onsite (5 days per week)
• Contract Length: 6 Months (Extension possible)
