We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with 1-2 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure statutory compliance. This role requires hands-on expertise in GST return filings (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B), TDS compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Maintain books of accounts and record daily financial transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
- Prepare invoices and oversee billing activities
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B)
- Ensure TDS compliance and manage statutory deductions
- Assist in monthly and annual financial closing processes
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable tax regulations
- 1-2 years of practical experience in accounting and compliance
- B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification in Commerce or Accounting
- Hands-on experience in GST return filing (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B)
- Basic understanding of TDS and Income Tax regulations
- Proficiency in Tally, Busy, or other ERP/accounting software
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel for reporting and reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling
- Effective time management and ability to meet statutory deadlines
- Basic understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes
