Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and a good eye for precision in. This role involves working on a variety of metal projects, requiring a combination of technical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:*""
Perform MIG and FCAW welding on mild steel.
Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine material requirements.
Weld steel parts and structures according to project specifications and dimensions.
Ensure quality and accuracy of welds and fabricated parts through thorough inspections.
Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Collaborate with team members and shop foreman to meet production goals and deadlines.
Identify and troubleshoot issues with welding equipment and make minor repairs as needed.
Comply with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Welder using MIG and FCAW.
Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment operation.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Ability to read tape measure and fillet gages.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Certification in welding or the ability to obtain is a plus.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
