About Them

A high-growth travel tech company on a mission to enable every person on earth to travel freely. They're automating one of travel's most frustrating pain points — visas — and expanding across B2C, B2E, and B2G, from seamless visa delivery to enterprise mobility and government partnerships that power large-scale travel infrastructure.

As VP of Engineering, you'll be the technical backbone of this journey — leading the engineering team through scale, shaping systems for global growth, and building a world-class group of engineers who move fast and solve hard problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a high-performing engineering team through rapid growth
• Drive system design and architecture decisions for scalability, reliability, and performance across geographies and product lines
• Partner with Product and Design to translate business goals into efficient, scalable engineering outcomes
• Establish robust development processes — CI/CD, observability, and a quality-first culture
• Define the long-term tech roadmap from infrastructure to platform capabilities

Requirements

• 10–15 years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record scaling consumer or B2C tech platforms (global, fintech, or travel domain a bonus)
• Deep expertise in modern architectures, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native stacks (AWS/GCP)
• Strong command of backend and frontend frameworks (Python, Node, React), mobile ecosystems, and data pipelines
• High bias for action; thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments
