Job Requirements

Role/Job Title:Specialist-Currency Management

Function/ Department:Currency Management

Job Purpose

To ensure Currency operations at Cash Processing Centers. All the Branch & ATMs to be sufficiently stocked of cash and no instances of cash outs.

Roles & Responsibilities

To ensure Nil Ops risk and loss.
To ensure process to be always complied as per SOP.
To ensure highest audit ratings for all internal and external audits with no adverse remarks. All action points to be closed within target date to ensure compliance.
To regularly check all areas especially critical ones from process as well as audit point of view
Accurate and timely reporting to Regulators to ensure no penalty of financial loss to the Bank.
Constant review of process and controls to ensure complete controls.
Monitoring of Cost to ensure expenditures within budget.
Supervision of Cash sorting in the processing room and ensure cash is sorted as per internal guidelines.
Training to branches on security features of Indian Banknotes at regular intervals
Ensure proper checks and frisking by guard during movement in CPC area.
To ensure proper functioning of all security gadgets and their regular checking and servicing. Maintaining CCTV backups and recordings as per Regulatory requirements.
Ensure cash sorting on daily basis with zero pendency as per TAT and ensuring optimum utilization of NSM & resources.
Mentor and coach team members to progress within the function.
To ensure all the security gadgets are in working condition on all the days.

Education Details

Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)

Post-graduation: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.com) / Master of Arts (MA)

Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
