Job Description

Arrow Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Transportation Specialist based out of the Hungary.

You will work directly with the EMEA Transportation team, internal organizations, warehouse operations in Hungary and external Freight Forwarders to facilitate and support transportation activities and setups to support the warehouse operation and Arrow business.

What You Will Be Doing

Support internal business units on setting up transportation lanes
Review, analyze and optimize existing transportation lanes
Customer transportation reporting
Work exception reporting, research and resolve mis-matches to determine root cause/corrective action.
Work cross-functionally to develop/implement shipping processes
Monitor, record, analyze and report on activities, trends, results and recommendations related to cost and performance optimization.
Participate in EMEA wide transportation projects and standard and capability definition.

What We Are Looking For

4 year degree and 4 years of experience in Transportation / Freight Forwarding
Exceptional data analytic and excel skills
Ability to retrieve, manipulate and present large sets of data
Experience working with small parcel, ocean and air freight carriers
Strong project management and multitasking skills with adherence to deadlines
Ability to work well both independently and in a cross functional team environment
Ability to independently manage large projects with limited management oversight
Experience working with a TMS, WMS and other Supply Chain systems
General understanding of import and export rules and regulations
