Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Technical Writer supporting Navy test and evaluation. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and editing technical documentation, including manuals, guides, and reports. Daily tasks include researching complex technical topics, organizing and presenting information in clear and concise formats, collaborating with subject matter experts, and ensuring documentation meets quality and client standards.

Qualifications

• MUST BE A US CITIZEN
• Must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance
• Strong skills in Technical Writing, Technical Documentation, and Technical Communication
• Experience creating and organizing Documentation and Reports
• Exceptional written communication and editing proficiency
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
• Proficiency in using standard documentation tools and software
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in roles such as Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) technical writing, or Navy Test and Evaluation technical writing, is a plus
