Job Overview:

Example: CGI is looking for a talented and motivated "Java Fullstack" with strong expertise in Payments domain to build and manage scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, working closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Design and develop full-stack payment applications using Java (Spring Boot) on the backend and React.js / Angular / Vue.js on the frontend.

Integrate with third-party payment gateways, processors, and banking APIs (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, ACH, RTP, SWIFT, SEPA).

Build secure and scalable RESTful APIs for transaction processing and account services.

Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration pipelines.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues related to payments.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Must Have Skills :

6-8 Years years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on Java (Spring Boot) and modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Angular, or Vue.js).

Solid understanding of payment processing systems, including:

Card-based transactions (Visa/MasterCard/AMEX)

Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Strong knowledge of security practices in financial applications (encryption, tokenization, authentication).

Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), and source control (Git).

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
