Job Description

Need to read, write and speak in Marathi Language

To ensure full compliance with environmental regulations and corporate sustainability standards at the Taloja FRP unit. The role is responsible for managing water, waste, and emission systems, achieving Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), reducing resource consumption, and implementing biodiversity and sustainability initiatives. It involves driving continuous improvement in environmental performance, ensuring timely statutory reporting, and supporting the organization’s commitment to sustainable operations.

Statutory Compliance & Reporting
Ensure 100% compliance with MPCB and statutory norms.
Timely submission of:

Form IV, Form V, E-waste, Battery waste, Biomedical waste returns and other statutory reports
EC compliance reports, CTO compliances.

Maintain accurate reporting on Enablon/EY tools and corporate dashboards.
Environmental monitoring of air, water parameters on a monthly basis.
Water & Waste Management
Achieve Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) status for the unit.
100% recycling of wastewater through ZLD for main plant and newly installed coating line
Achieve min 50% use of rain water of the total water mix
Implement SOPs for hazardous waste handling and co-processing in cement plants.
Hazardous waste management and disposal ensuring all the statutory norms.
Sustainability & Biodiversity
Enhance green belt of Unit to more than 40%
Identify alternative bio degradable plastics for packaging
Application for environmental awards and recognition.
Air Emission & Pollution Control
Monitor and maintain compliance for stack emissions and ambient air quality as per MPCB norms.
Provide technical support for installation of Bag Filters and Best Available Technologies (BAT) at emission sources.
Implement VOC and fugitive emission control measures.
Safety & Training
Conduct 3 man-days/year safety and environmental training for operators.
Develop training modules on Waste Management, Water Management, Emission Control, and Sustainability.
Ensure vendor training on SOPs and job-specific safety.
Digitalization & Innovation
Develop digital dashboards for real-time monitoring of water, waste, and emissions.
Implement IoT-based sensors for STP/ETP/ZLD systems for predictive maintenance.
Explore AI-driven analytics for resource optimization and compliance tracking.
Stakeholder Engagement
Liaise with MPCB, DISH, PESO, MIDC, PMC for approvals and compliance.
Coordinate with Corporate Sustainability Team for group-level initiatives.
