Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Department Manager to oversee our apparel department in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the apparel retail industry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Department Management: Oversee the daily operations of the apparel department, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability and minimizing shrinkage.
Sales Performance: Drive sales growth by implementing effective merchandising strategies, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
Customer Service: Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Visual Merchandising: Maintain attractive and organized displays to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Reporting: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

Experience: 5 - 7 years of experience in the apparel retail industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in inventory management and sales analysis, and a customer-centric approach.
