About The Role
We are looking for a Sr. Technical Engineer – OMP Core Platform to join the Digital & Technology team at General Mills. This role focuses on strengthening and modernizing the OMP SaaS platform, a critical system supporting global Supply Chain Planning.
You will partner with platform leaders, global supply chain teams, and the OMP vendor to enhance platform stability, scalability, security, and performance. The role involves working across infrastructure, CI/CD, integrations, observability, and cloud modernization initiatives.

You will partner with platform leaders, global supply chain teams, and the OMP vendor to enhance platform stability, scalability, security, and performance. The role involves working across infrastructure, CI/CD, integrations, observability, and cloud modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive platform health, stability, and modernization initiatives
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and infrastructure automation
- Ensure compliance with security and IT standards
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SaaS environments
- Partner with global teams and vendors to deliver scalable solutions
- Support upgrades, release management, and governance activities
- 8+ years of IT experience supporting complex applications/SaaS platforms
- 3+ years in cloud (GCP preferred) and SaaS environments
- Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, Terraform/Ansible
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash)
- Knowledge of Linux, networking, integrations (SAP & APIs)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, Splunk, Cloud Monitoring)
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Full-time graduation (mandatory)
- OMP platform experience (configuration, architecture, modules)
- Supply Chain planning systems (SAP APO, IBP, Kinaxis, BlueYonder, etc.)
- DevOps & cloud administration (GCP/Azure/AWS)
- Experience in CPG / Supply Chain domain
