Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Engineer / Assistant Manager with strong experience in SAP PM/MM and a solid background in electrical maintenance, power systems, and reliability engineering. The ideal candidate should have in-depth exposure to maintenance planning, OPEX/CAPEX control, electrical safety, and asset management in industrial or utility environments.
Responsibilities
1. SAP PM/MM & Cost Management
- Efficiently handle SAP PM for maintenance planning, work order management, and equipment history.
- Manage SAP MM for material requisitions, spare tracking, and inventory control.
- Prepare and monitor OPEX & CAPEX budgets, ensuring cost optimization and adherence to financial targets.
2. Electrical Systems Operation & Maintenance
- Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of:
- HT/LT Electrical Systems (33kV / 415V)
- Transformers, Switchgear & Protection Relays
- BESS – Battery Energy Storage Systems
- UPS & EMS – Energy Management Systems
- Ensure seamless operation of off-grid power systems including load balancing and reliability management.
- Basic understanding of Electrolyser operation and its power/load behavior.
3. Reliability Engineering & Maintenance Execution
- Develop and execute Preventive & Predictive Maintenance schedules.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for repeated faults and equipment failures.
- Plan and execute shutdown activities with proper coordination, timeline management, and safety compliance.
- Manage spare parts and ensure critical inventory is maintained at optimal levels.
4. Safety, Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Ensure adherence to IE Rules, CEA norms, and electrical safety guidelines.
- Manage and enforce Permit to Work (PTW) systems for maintenance tasks.
- Implement and monitor LOTO procedures across all electrical maintenance activities.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring 100% compliance and timely closure of NCs.
5. Vendor Management & Contract Administration
- Coordinate with OEMs, service providers, and contractors for timely service execution.
- Oversee AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) performance, SLA tracking, and renewal processes.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
Education Qualification:
Essential: BE / B.Tech in Electrical

5+ years of relevant experience
