We Are Hiring – Speech Therapist

The Ability People is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to support children with communication and developmental challenges through centre-based therapy and limited community outreach.

Role Overview:

The Speech Therapist will provide therapy for children with speech, language, and communication difficulties. The role will primarily be centre-based, working directly with children, along with field visits once or twice a week for assessments and follow-ups when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for children
• Provide therapy sessions for children with speech and communication difficulties
• Develop individualized therapy plans
• Support children with conditions such as developmental delays, cerebral palsy, and speech disorders
• Guide parents and caregivers on home-based exercises and communication strategies
• Maintain therapy records and progress documentation
• Conduct community or home visits once or twice a week for follow-up cases when needed

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Speech and Hearing or Speech Therapy
• Passion for working with children with disabilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to support occasional field visits
