Special Educator

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Special Educator to join our team. The role involves assessing children’s unique learning needs, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and working closely with parents, therapists, and teachers to ensure holistic development of each child.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess children’s academic, behavioural, and social skills.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs.
• Conduct one-on-one and group intervention sessions.
• Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and parents for integrated care.
• Track and document each child’s progress, preparing regular reports.
• Provide training, guidance, and counselling support to parents and caregivers.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education (B.Ed/M.Ed in Special Education) – RCI registration preferred.
• Experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, or other developmental challenges.
• Strong understanding of IEP planning and execution.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
• Empathy, patience, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
