Summary:

UST is looking for Spark Developer

The Opportunity:

• Develop, test, and maintain data processing pipelines using Apache Spark
• Work with large-scale datasets to perform data transformation and analysis
• Implement Spark jobs using Spark SQL, DataFrames, and RDDs
• Write and maintain basic Java code to support data processing tasks
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements
• Optimize Spark jobs for performance and scalability
• Debug and resolve issues in Spark applications
• Follow coding standards and best practices
  
  

What You Need:

Required Skills:

• Very good knowledge of Apache Spark
• Basic programming knowledge in Java
• Understanding of big data concepts and distributed computing
• Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN) is a plus
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  
  

Desired Skills:

• Exposure to real-time or batch data processing
• Familiarity with Linux and version control tools (Git)
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
