Job Title: Software Engineer (.NET & Azure)

Location: Pune

Employment Type: Full-time

About The Role

As a Software Engineer, you will join our international R&D team and contribute to the development of our flagship product, CostX. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer looking to apply and grow their skills in .NET and cloud technologies. You will work on the back-end services that power our desktop and cloud solutions, contributing to new features and the continuous improvement of the product within a supportive, global team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality back-end services and applications using C# and the .NET framework.
• Contribute to the evolution of CostX by working on new functionality and software improvements for our desktop and web environments.
• Participate in system analysis, design, coding, and unit testing under the guidance of senior team members.
• Be involved in the full development lifecycle, from initial design discussions to deployment and support.
• Work with the team to utilize and support our CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated deployments.
• Assist in triage activities by helping troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments.
• Work closely with product managers, QA, and other developers in a collaborative international team.
• Actively participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and team meetings in an Agile environment.
  
  

Essential Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a software development environment.
• Solid professional experience with C# and .NET frameworks (.NET Core, .NET 5+).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL).
• Exposure to Azure DevOps, including source control (Git) and CI/CD concepts.
• A good understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and debugging.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• A graduate degree or higher diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  
  

Desired Skills And Competencies

• Familiarity with Delphi: Our CostX product has a Delphi-based front-end. Any exposure to Delphi would be beneficial.
• Web Development: Basic knowledge of JavaScript.
• Agile Experience: Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum development team.
• Database Knowledge: Experience with MS SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Architectural Interest: An interest in learning about microservices or distributed systems.
