Job Description

Zerowings Aerospace is looking for a Software Development Intern to contribute to the development of ground control software for UAV platforms. The role involves building software features, improving mission workflows, and integrating machine learning and computer vision capabilities into real-time drone operations.

Responsibilities

• Customize and extend open-source ground control software (GCS) for multiple UAV platforms

• Develop new operator features, workflows, and UI components for mission control systems

• Adapt drone control software for applications such as inspection, mapping, automation, and monitoring

• Integrate ML and computer vision outputs such as detection, tracking, and analytics into live flight interfaces

• Work closely with hardware and avionics teams to develop reliable software tools for real-world deployment

Requirements

• B.Tech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or related fields (Final Year or Recent Graduate)

• Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, or JavaScript

• Familiarity with UI or application frameworks like Qt/QML, React, or similar tools

• Understanding of APIs, real-time data systems, and software integration

• Exposure to ML/CV frameworks such as OpenCV, PyTorch, or TensorFlow

• Strong problem solving ability and collaborative mindset

Compensation & Benefits

Stipend: ₹15,000/month for the first 3 months

Extension possible for the next 3 months based on performance
