Social Media Marketing Intern

About the Role

We are hiring energetic and content-savvy interns who love storytelling, trends, and student culture. This is a hands-on role where you will be on campus, capturing daily student life, events, achievements and trending content to build relatable and engaging brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture, edit and publish 1 reel per day for the regional NIAT Instagram page.
• Knows Regional language to build on-campus relationships with students and clubs to source stories, events and content ideas.
• Create short-form content such as reels, interviews, vox pops, behind-the-scenes, classroom clips and event highlights.
• Maintain a daily content log with topic, format, posted link and performance metrics.
• Follow platform trends, formats, hooks and editing styles to keep the content culturally relevant.
• Coordinate with the regional Social Media Strategist for reviews, planning, and scheduling.

Requirements

• Good editing skills (CapCut/InShot/Instagram editing experience preferred).
• Passion for social media trends, filming and storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and proactively approach students for content.
• Comfortable being on camera when required (optional but preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in execution.
