Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior QA Engineer with 2–3 years of relevant experience to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring product quality through both manual and automation testing, focusing on designing and executing test cases, defect tracking, and supporting timely releases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases.
Build and maintain Selenium-based automation frameworks to support ongoing test activities.
Identify, track, and manage defects throughout the development lifecycle using standard defect-tracking tools.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including developers, product managers, and DevOps—to ensure alignment on quality standards.
Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and risk analysis to support smooth and timely releases.
Review requirements and specifications to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.
Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and best practices to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
Ensure all releases meet rigorous quality benchmarks and are delivered within planned timelines.

Requirements

2–4 years of professional experience in software quality assurance (manual and automation).
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, including scripting, framework usage, and test execution.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Proficiency in test case design, test execution, root cause analysis, and defect reporting.
Experience with QA tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to relocate or reliably commute to Ernakulam, Kerala, prior to joining.
