Job Description: Senior Project Engineer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail oriented and data driven Senior Project Engineer to strengthen

our global quality function. This role is responsible for collecting and analyzing field

performance data, generating actionable quality insights, and driving mitigation actions in

collaboration with global engineering, product companies, and service teams. The ideal

candidate will proactively identify quality risks, highlight red flag trends, and support

cross functional decision-making through clear, evidence based reporting.

Responsibilities:

1.Global Product Quality Ownership:

∙This role requires end to end ownership of product quality at a global level, ensuring

consistent monitoring of field performance across all regions, aligning actions with

global product companies, and driving worldwide mitigation initiatives to improve

long term reliability

2.Field Data Collection & Conditioning

∙Collect field performance data, warranty data, service reports, and feedback from

service technicians, distributors, and customers.

∙Clean, validate, and structure raw data for analysis (noise removal, standardization,

categorization, etc.).

∙Maintain a central repository of all field data for traceability and trend monitoring.

3.Data Analysis & KPI Preparation

∙Conduct statistical analysis to identify failure patterns, recurring issues, and deviation

trends.

∙Prepare key metrics such as MTBF, failure rate, top contributors, defect Pareto,

warranty cost impact, and field reliability indicators.

∙Build concise dashboards and monthly/quarterly quality reports.

4.Quality Reporting for Council Meetings

∙Present insights and quality metrics in Product Council, Quality Council, and

Reliability review meetings.

∙Highlight red flags, emerging risks, and items that require management attention.

∙Prepare supporting documents, presentations, and summaries for global leadership

updates.

5.Risk Identification & Mitigation

∙Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Service, and Manufacturing teams to

investigate critical issues.

∙Drive or support 8D/A3 problem solving activities based on field data.

∙Monitor containment and corrective action effectiveness in global teams.

∙Track closure of field actions and warranty reduction initiatives.

6.Global Coordination

∙Act as a communication bridge between regional teams and global product

companies.

∙Share data insights, field learnings, and improvement needs with global

stakeholders.

∙Follow up on open actions, validate implementation, and ensure timely mitigation of

product quality concerns.

7.Continuous Improvement & Documentation

∙Update knowledge repositories with lessons learned, trend reports, and field issue

summaries.

∙Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to reliability, quality

analytics, and early detection systems.

Requirements:

∙Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics

preferred).

∙5+ years of experience in Product Quality, Reliability Engineering, Field Quality, or similar

roles.

∙Strong analytical skills with experience in data handling and statistical tools (Excel, Power

BI, Minitab, or similar).

∙Ability to convert complex data into clear insights and management ready presentations.

∙Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to leadership teams.

∙Experience in cross functional/global coordination.

∙Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

∙Strong communication with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at

all levels.

∙Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.

Solid organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and

manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

∙Passion for innovation and continuous learning, with a drive to stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in Embedded space.
