We are looking for a Software Developer with 8 - 12 years of experience to be based at our Mangalore office in India, and to be part of our growth story. Are you a seasoned software developer looking for the next step in your career? EG is seeking a talented Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and Symfony. Design and implement REST APIs for seamless integration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices. Conduct thorough testing to ensure code quality and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise, providing timely solutions. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Desired Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of experience in developing web applications. Strong knowledge of PHP, Symfony, REST API, SQL and Git. Knowledge of modern CI/CD workflows. Proven experience in testing code to ensure quality and reliability. Structured, reliable, analytical, and independent work ethic. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Optional Skills: Experience with frontend technologies, specifically JavaScript and Vue.js, is a plus. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 8 - 12 years of relevant experience in software development.
