Senior Nurse Assistant

We’re looking for compassionate and caring Nursing Assistant with a passion to be a key part of the patient care journey here at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT)- Northern HIV service

Job Summary

The post holder will act as a Senior Nursing Assistant Band 3, within the Northern HIV service. Travelling across all our sites you must have access to transport to enable you to work flexibly across our clinical services in Stockport/Tameside and Central Manchester.

The post holder will act as a Senior Nursing Assistant, supporting the multidisciplinary team, working under supervision of registered nurses. They will assist patients through our clinics across Stockport/Tameside and Central Manchester provided by the HIV service. This includes chaperoning doctors/specialist nurses in clinics, and providing venepuncture and STI screening. They will keep the material resources well stocked in the clinical area. They will be expected to rotate through managed areas within the clinic assisting in general care duties as specified below, under the overall guidance/supervision delegated by a Registered Nurse.
